Would anyone know how much a 70+ year old Mickey Mouse watch (in the original bo!

Question: hello silly frog.
i just went online real quick and got a few places for you to start, but name brand antiques are often a matter of timing. (Not just cos it's a watch). some people may not be into Disney. Some may realize the value and be collecting things and would pay lots for what you've got, especially in the box. years back, i saw an ad where someone wanted to pay $250 for old "E-tickets". that was ride tickets for the good rides but the collector wanted them about 20 years later!!! i have some in fact, SOMEHWERE, as well as a vintage donald duck piggy bank. if i were you, i wouldn't let that go until you've had a real professional look at it, or find something on the web that gives a list of the going prices. when you take it to a regular antique shop, the people just may not be interested in Disney objects where as if you put it on an auction, if there are collectors out there, they'll have the option to bid on it. still, there's no guarantee you'll get the best price the first time. something like that could end up being bought for something like $25,000 if someone wanted it and had the money. e-bay costs to sell on it, therefore i looked up a free auction site and listed it for you. If it's in the box, it isn't rusted. it may still work or be able to work. watches ran on spring, not battery back then, but you can't wind, i mean, twist it, back and forth, no more than about three times to see if it starts ticking.
i'm getting excited just thinking about it, but i'm poor! maybe i ought to take my own advise and see if anyone is looking for a perfect elvis record album! check out those sites below, that i gave you and you'll be able to run with it from there.
if you sell it, i at least get 'best answer'!!! DO NOT LET IT GO FOR SOME $500 OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. WHEN YOU SEE THINGS LIKE THAT ON THE ANTIQUE ROAD SHOW, IN PERFECT CONDITION AND EVEN IF RUNNING, SOMEONE ELSE COULD SELL IT FOR A TIDY PENNY. THE THINGS THEY HAVE ON THERE, THEY ALWAYS GOT FOR CHEAP BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO SOLD THE THINGS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY HAD. believe it or not, the price goes up if you know where it came from and it has a history. for all you know, it may be a lmited edition or the first one made. don't be silly, silly frog; get a real pro to appraise it; someone who is familiar with Disney products, or find a list. i think i saw a list of prices place on the first site i clicked onto.
LUCK AND LOVE.

ebay

i dunno really but it's got to be around $200
mickey mouse products aren't really expensive!!!

70,000

Check out on line auction sites. Most go for around $75. It is more of a collectible item than a retirement fund.

A lot to the right person E-Bay would be a good place to see the market value but if you do E-bay set a minimum of say 500.00 that way you won't sell it for less that 500.00 and if it doesn't go that high of a price you will know the market value.

i dont know but as you say its 70 years old and in a box it may be worth a bit especially if it works, you could try a antique shop and see what they think, or try a search on ebay and see if any thing comes up, go into the antique or collectables section they have a chat board on their site thats if you can get into it you may not if you are not a regular on there good luck

A lot of money!!! If you want to sell it put it on eBay-i would put a reserve on it a big reserve. You would be surprised how much an item like that in the original box is worth being that old.Do some research..

95,000

without knowing what it looks like it is hard to say. I would check with a dealer first and eBay. Here are a couple links that each have an old one with different pricing. http://www.boomertime.com/4%20Character/... and the other is http://www.mygrannysatticantiques.com/ht... One sold for $65 while the other is for sale for $188 so I think it really depends.
Good luck to you.
