What anime should i get?!
Question: ok i'm out to buy my first anime searies i ant something different and something that will get me hooked and i'll want to watch again and again.
i like fantasy but please none with demons and gore and vampires and all that stuff.
here is a list of what i have seen and if you know of any good manga let me know

If you're looking for "cool" anime:
Spiral-an anime about a really smart and clever guy whose brother(who was even smarter and very talented) dissapeared leaving behind words of the blade children
Black cat- about an assassin who left his company after a change of heart

Funny &&& CUTTEEE!
Great storyline too,

BLEACH really good not that much gore but has a lot of koolio swords
Both the Ghost in the Shell films are superb (even the directors of the matrix admit to lifting ideas from the first one). The series (Stand alone complex) doesn't quite make it though.
Akira is an absolute classic. It's a must have.
As for series, I got the DVD set of Afro Samuri recently and it's pretty good.
Yeah, I agree Ouran and bleach are awesome.

this series is extremely poplar and at the very least it's worth checking out on youtube before going out and buying the DVD (I think the DVD has been released already....)
