no that doesnt happen... after they save rukia fillers come and end at episode 109... then in episode 110 the plot of aizen ichimaru and tousen comes back into play.... so really it just continues cuz in reality it wasnt about rukia at all her execution was only a diversion and an excuse to use the syukoyu ... so it was about aizen all along
That's when it gets really good because he become a deputy of the Soul Society..You have to watch I don't want to spoil too much,I can tell you that Renji gets send back to earth in place of Rukia..
You should read the manga if you want to know what happens after Ichigo saves Rukia. The manga is ahead of the anime.
its kinda like they fall into a deep friendship instead of love. there's nothing that really points to a love connection other than how much he want to save her. some people may think differently, but thats how i see it. the show does get exetremely good though (excluding fillers). i wont spoil the rest, unless u ask.

after ichigo saves rukia ... there are fillers about bounto ( it was kinda boring for me :D ) ... and there is a guy who want to destroy the soul socity ....then after that aizen comes back to story ....and he is using the ston or something to make strong hollows and arrancars .....

I assume important details to u would be about Ichigo's relationship. Well, as of now, Ichigo is still too thick-headed to fall in love with anyone although Inoue has feelings for him. But being the blur person he is, he doesn't know it cause he has his own problems like dealing with his inner hollow and protecting his friends from arrancar etc.
As for Rukia, she's also a bit blur about matters or the heart and doens't take Ichigo miore than an important friend. More like Renji status, I guess.
