Answers: I live near Toronto, and I really want to go to one. I heard of Anime North in Toronto, but are there any others? I'm going for fun (only 14 yrs old anyways). Does anyone know the prices? Oh, and this is my first time so what should I expect. All I know is that people dress up in costumes and sell art and other cool things.

I'm sure there are a bunch. I'm more into superhero stuff, but I know that FanExpo caters to Anime fans. Paradise Comicon is another large convention that you might like. Search around Google and see what you come up with for other conventions. Often times Anime is lumped in with other subjects, so if you see a comic convention, or a collector convention, research it and see if you think it's interesting. It's always good to research any convention you plan on going to, just to make sure there will be enough stuff for you to enjoy going. There's nothing worse than going to a con that's no fun.

I've never been to a con specifically for Anime, but if you go to Anime North, Fan Expo or the Paradise show, you can definately expect people dressing up, special guests and a whole bunch of dealers. Most conventions have websites, so check them out to see what will be there and what you should bring. Prices range from around 10 dollars to 40, depending on the size and length of the convention. All price info should usually be on the con's site.

heres a list of anime conventions in Canada. umm well i live in the U.S but i do know that anime stuff can get expensive, im going to one in february and plan on bringing about $100 with me.
