id say naruto and bleach cuz theyre action and everyone seems to watch them but i dont like saying naruto and bleach because thats so cliche. (mentioned them twice ****)
I love trigun its my absolute favorite of all time

Tengen toppa gurren-lagann has tons of action but its more about robots and it gets worse after ep8 but before that i think its worth seeing
Desert punk - i liked this because it reminded me of trigun, guns in the future in the desert. Its got a lot of comedy but most of it is the main character being perverted or something
Outlaw star- shooting and action in space, some guy gets an experimental ship through coincidence etc etc dont wanna ruin it for you but i liked it
FLCL- its only six episodes long but i thought it rocked. Its not really action but weird giant robots occasionally appear and this girl uses a guitar like a bat
hellsing- has gun action, mostly about vampires, really gory
