What season and episode is HEROES up to now?!

Question: Season 2, episode 4 airs on monday.

Answers: Season 2, episode 4 airs on monday.
On monday the 15th, it will be season 2, episode 4.

Personally...I can't wait.
Season 2, and Episode 4 airs monday. I am taping them, and hoping to watch season one Completely before watching any of 2.

Here is some information I gave to some other questioners about the show some time ago, hope it helps you as well.

Well they are almost done with Season 1. They just airred episode #19 last Monday. The season is slated to be 23 episodes long. According to http://wikipedia.org

The season [SEASON 2] is referred to as "Volume Two: Generations". It will focus on the relatives and families of the heroes from season one, including Mohinder's deceased sister Shanti.[8] According to Tim Kring, the second season will consist of "new people and new storylines...and new heroes

Based on this I would say seeing season 2 would be REALLY frustrating with out watching season 1. If you have Cable, and get the SciFi channel, then all you need to do is tune in on most Fridays, and try to notice their schedule. They show reruns of Heroes. In fact they will be showing episode 19 this Friday. Even if you can't get the other episodes you should be able to follow it. more or less. Don't get frustrated, just let it unfold.

Small synopsis. The first few episodes lay allot of the ground work. People from different circumstance, find they have amazing, and at times frightening powers. (Think X-Men, without the tights, so far) As the story progresses we see that these main individuals are not alone. Their have been others before them, and will be others after. The main arc of the first season revolves around an explosion that is seen happening in the future in New York City. As the season has progressed, several of the seemingly unconnected people meet each other. What is a show called Heroes without Villains. Most of the appearant Villians are multilevel characters, so that you can love and hate them. All in all a fun show.

The cast is phenominal. Of the actors I recognised there are, among others, [character, then actor who portrays said character]
Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), Who did quite well as Jessica on Malcolm in the Middle.
Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), Who was well received as David Mc Clarin on Judging Amy
Sandra Bennet (Ashley Crow) {whose real life husband is also a cast member) She was on the short lived series Probe as Michele Castle
Matthew "Matt" Parkman (Greg Grunberg) who is well known for playing Eric Weiss on the show Alias

I do wish to warn you, some of the episodes can be somewhat gory. Also 1 or 2 of the early episodes have sexual comments/references. There is also some cursing.

For more info go to Wikipedia. They have pretty good info on the show, the episodes, the arcs, the cast.

Hope this helps:D

Well from what I heard/read when the show had only shown a few episodes the second season was greenlit. Now seasons 3 and 4 are Oked by NBC. At the TVLand awards Tim Kring, the creator, jokingly said that Hiro went into the future and saw that Heroes ran for 42 seasons, breaking the record for longest running series. They beat out Simpsons by 9 episodes. I see the show lasting quite a while.
