Besides Naruto, full metal Alchemist, bleach and other anime that comes on Adult swim, What Anime do you like?
Everyone like the same anime. And that anime usually comes on adult swim.. Could anyone recommend some mature anime, that not too sexual or overly gross- but has a nice plot like Berserk, Elfen lied, Claymore, Darker than Black- Or something of that nature? If you recommend something, please tell me why it's good with a short description.
Answers: I'm not familiar with adult swim but I can recommend some mature anime like "Death Note" which is a thrilling battle of wits type of anime ... a lot of people like this anime.
My current favorite is "DearS" (love story anime) but its a bit "echhi" meaning its kinda sexy but not too overly sexual.
Also try watching "Slam Dunk" and "Great Teacher Onizuka" both are kinda old animes but has an addicting quality to ihem. Both are about school life.
A really really good anime now is "Kenichi" it's a martial arts/school life/comedy anime that just aired its final episode for the season last week. I strongly recommend this one although some might not consider this mature anime. i like the anime such as jackie chan, spiderman, spongebob. i dont know my mom wont get cable sat or otherwise i've used this answer before, but i can use it again:Love Hina is a fine anime, so is tenchi muyo, and Ah! My Goddess as well. For the most part, these animes show the everyday parts of their characters' lives. I would also recommend "Whisper of the heart." no super heroes, no villians, just a well-written story. Black cat. It's the story of Train Heartnet, an eraser from the organization Cronos. After he leaves Cronos he is involved in a battle and discovers the secret behind Cronos.
Another good anime is Loveless. The main character is a 12 year old boy Ritsuka who is trying to find out who killed his older brother Seimei with the help of one of Seimei's friend Soubi. He finds out that Seimei and Soubi were a team in which Soubi was the fighter and Seimei the sacrifice. Kappa Mikey
I like Blood + even though it is on adult swim (but than again I like Full Metal on adult swim as well). Samuari Champoo (spelling?) is a good one along with Gochan (spelling?) which is about giant robots and their pilots and can be seen on the anime network Darker Descendant (Yami No Matsuei) - Its about two shinagami's (angel of death) tsuzuki and hisoka solving crimes and protecting people. Its nice really and has a serious plot - your mind will work - youd just not laugh your heart out like other anime - but yes, there are minor goofing around. Its part of being and anime right. Trademark or whatever. With another character named, Dr. Kazutaka Muraki - he spices things up. Although im not sure if this is unfinished or what. ja a! Try Paprika
