tell me somethings u like and dislike about manga please thnx =D
Answers: i love manga! i think that its beautiful! (so serious) nothing in this world can compare to the feeling of reading a newly purchased manga!
i love the art! manga art is way better than regular comics like marvel and DC.
i love how MOST of them are read from right to left! its sooo great that way!
i love the feel of the paper and the sizes of the books!
I just love reading them! i read alot... from manga to novels i am always reading... and when i tell people that i love manga they always make it sound like its just a kiddie thing when it isnt at all! they think that just because it mostly pictures and few words that learning anything is impossible... but they are dead wrong!
a picture holds a thousand words. i can spend the same amount of time and even more studying one manga page completely at the same time it would take me to rad a page from a novel! not only that, but i learn from mangas too.
i love how mangas teach you not only about japan (some) but theuir cultures as well.
i love how you can see the characters and their situations right in front of you.
i love how there are so many manga-ka AND so many drawing styles.
i just LOVE reading manga! it always makes me happy ^^
dislike: manga pages turn yellow. i hate that! i could buy a manga and then in a few months you can already see the pages turning yellow! heck, in a month sometimes! why is that? i hate that sooo bad! novels doent turn yellow that quickly.... ><" Well, manga is more original and in-depth than anime, but on the other hand, some would argue that it takes "effort" to enjoy it. Also, oftentimes the story/animation is largely improved with the creation of the anime, and so in those situations, the anime is better than the manga.
Overall, however, manga is my preference. I like how manga can be so varied, in artistic style, genre and story/plots.
The art, and the details (but, that depends on the manga-ka).
The variety of sounds.
I hate it whey they “flip it” in the North American publications, and translate the sounds effects.
