What makes a manga less interesting?!

Question:

What makes a manga less interesting?

can u tell me some things that make a manga less interesting..i read hayate the combat butler and i kinda lost interest cuz too many characters came into the story.what makes it less interesting?

Answers: -the story dragging on and on.
-too many volumes.
-to many characters that you can't remember their names
-lame graphics (not detailed like stick people)
-boring beginning
-not so good storyline
-no beginning, middle, and end (can't understand anything, plot messed up) How there's so many different characters.
And they get off topic to easliy.
Also,in the ones that are based on action really doesn't have much action.

YAAA DIG?!! A slow moving storyline. If things aren't exciting after the first 2-3 chapters, I won't read anymore. ^_^ Like you said, bringing too many characters in..
I also think it gets ruined when the plot is way too cliche or predictable. It's like "Wow, this exact thing has happened in about 12 different animes, except this time its' a girl,". For me to lose interest in a manga series, it would fall under these criterias:

*not so well drawn characters (I like my manga with great drawing detail)
*confusing or boring storylines
*not really connecting with the lead character(s)

This is a most excellent question! u usually find a book booooring if u can't relate to any of the characters in any way U.U

it however doesn't even have to be a direct connection, it can be something that u like about the characters or some hot bishies or watever....

if u don't understand it, don't go any further O.O it'll be painful for u, and u'd be wasting your time.
if it doesn't relate to u or your life, it's a bore.

trust me, i know. it once took me about a year O.O to read a book cause i thought it was freakin stupid and the plot was crazy.

~try reading full moon wo sagashite, kamikaze kaito jeanne, (both are liscensed by the way) or maybe even any of the ones u see here:
http://www.nagare-boshi.net/current.html... yeah!
horrible art. i stared reading sugar sugar rune and it wasnt bad but because th e art wasnt that great i couldnt read past three vols... sorry^^ i like good art!

cliche story line. its like, come on! it can be similar to something else but make it kind of original!

Too many characters and common names. IF you keep on coming out with a new character or two every chapter, how am i supposed to grow on one? its HIGHLY important in manga to get attached to the characters.
no only that, but if each characters name is similar or even drawn similar its really hard to keep on readinfg because you cant distinguish between them... (ex. Yoshimoto, Yoshitomi, Yoshino, Yasuda, Yura, etc... if they all sound the same im just going to get confused! and im pretty accustomed to japanese names.... so.... yeah ^^ Here's mine

1. How the characters were drawn (I hate the serious, almost real life drawings)
2. Predictable
3. Boring and sometimes confusing storyline
4. No comedy. I have to say the worst thing is dragging out a 2 minute battle for tons of episodes. Dragonball Z's Frieza Saga is EXACTLY how an anime can drive you crazy for episode after episode because they just don't get anything done. Namek was going to explode for about 50 episodes and when Goku finally kicked Frieza's butt (or at least that's what everyone thought), it was like a 2 second deal. It's like you made me wait all this time for this?!?!?! Yeah that's highly annoying.
