Who is the best comic book hero?!

Question:

Who is the best comic book hero?

I think first Batman, then Punisher, maybe Spiderman third. What do you monkeys think?

Answers: ooo ooo me like batman want banana My top 5 in order are:

1. Batman the best all around fighter and detective. Given the sitsuation and less than a minute Batman can figure out how to stop most anyone.

2. Captian America almost as good a fighter as Batman. Better than any one else in tatics fo both an individual and a team.

3. Superman no one can match him in raw power but his greatest weapon is is compassion.

4. Green Lantern power limited only by his imagination and will power. With this unless taken by suprise should be unstopable.

5. Captian Marvel (Shazam) Wisdom of Solomon, Stregnth of Hercules, stamina of Atlas, Power of Zues, courage of Achilles, and speed of Mercury. These should say it all the best of the ancients. !) Superman, because he is the original, the archetype, and the inspiration for everything to follow.
2) Batman, because he has been successful through so many incarnations, from gothic to campy to action hero. He has no super-powers, yet he's been as much of a flagship character for DC and comics in general as Superman.
3) Spiderman, although his powers are silly (bitten by a radioactive spider?) everyone can relate to him. His full face mask means that people of all races and backgrounds can imagine themselves as the character. He's also like Charlie Brown, unlucky and perfectly capable of losing/taking a beating and therefore more sympathetic. Because he's something of a loser, we cheer him more when he wins.
4) Captain Marvel (Shazam, the REAL Cap) because he was the only comics character to regularly sell over a million comics a month and was the most popular character of the Golden Age. C.C. Beck's simple yet at times realistic art still works over 60 years later.
5) Adam Strange was the greatest sci-fi hero ever, and along with the Flash and Green Lantern defined the Silver Age. He was the first comic hero to be really smart, when Batman was still saying things like, "A good crimefighter always eats his vegetables, Robin." He had a more intimate relationship with his girlfriend Alanna then comics had ever seen, while Lois Lane was falling out windows to trick Clark Kent, Adam had an equal and attractive partner. No super-powers, but his wits were more then enough for a wide array of inter-galatic menaces. Great art by Infantino, and great inking by the likes of Greene and Anderson, plus Gardner Fox's brilliant scripts always delivered.
Honorable mention- Krypto, the best super-powered dog hero ever.
Wonder Woman- for more reasons then I can go into here
The Thing- Ben Grimm was Marvel's most complex character in Marvel's prime, before they became too commercial and cross-over oriented
Archie- a non super-hero icon it would be none other than the weather godess, the mistress of the elements----STORM. well i guess shes the best, shes hot, gorgeous and powerful...
