Alright, I asked this question before but I never exactly got the answers I wanted. First I want anime AND manga titles. It doesn't have to be one title with both the anime and manga version but I want not only manga but anime too. Heres the details:
Manga:
1. Has to be SHOUJO with a GIRL in lead, I'm not stupid, some have gave me titles with BOYS as the lead, I want a girl lead.
2. I want some action in this, not just fluff but ACTION too.
3. Don't give me these titles:

And uh....I read many others but I can't remember......

Me. I've been watching anime like mad-crazy since 1998. Ouran High Host Club? Although by telling you this I spoil it for you.
And apparently you don't know what "shoujo" really means...It doesn't necessarily mean that there's a female character in the lead; A shoujo means that it's directed for girls. anime>> Gokusen--the teacher(lady yakuza) rocks I have some manga titles for you--all of them contain more drama than fluff, but most of them don't have action as in physical fighting.
MANGA
1. Ranma 1/2-- this one's fairly famous, but if you haven't tried it before, I highly recommend it. It's really long and although it's not necessarily shoujo, it contains a lot of love triangles (and love squares, and love pentagons) and general relationship drama. The main character is a guy (who turns into a girl when doused in cold water) and it's one of my favorites.
2. Maison Ikkoku

4. Marmalade Boy
5. Absolute Boyfriend
6. Fushigi Yugi--this is another one that has a lot of action but also a lot of interaction between the main character (a girl) and her love interest.
7. NANA
8. Goong
9. Crimson Hero
As for anime, I don't really have anything that's not based on the manga above, but I'll relist the ones that I know are also anime series.
1. Ranma 1/2
2. Maison Ikkoku
3. Marmalade Boy
4. Fushigi Yugi
5. NANA
And if you like manga/anime, it's almost a given that you've seen Miyazaki's films, but if you haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle, you should. It's my favorite of his works.
Finally, if you want to branch out a little, the NANA live-action movie is very good as well.

Inuyasha (same principle that applies with Fullmetal Panic)

Azumanga Daioh (its mostly about the life of 6 girls and its mostly a comedy/spice of life deal, and its a light seinen (not sure why) but i think you will like it.)
