In that one Spongebob episode when Squidward buys a snail to win a race and Spongebob also puts his snail Gary in the snail race. And at the end, Gary and Squidward's snails fell in love and hugged each other, and Spongebob said to Squidward ''Well Squidward, I guess you and I are in-laws now.'' and Squidward didn't look happy. What did Spongebob mean about what he said to Squidward? I didn't get it. Can someone please tell me what Spongebob ment about what he said to Squidward? Did he mean that he and Squidward were family now? Or what? Please tell me. Thanks.
Answers: because if the two snails were to get "married" then thir "parents" being spongebob and squidward would be inlaws then. I think if the snails had mated then since Squidward owns the female and Spongebob owns the male that they would be in-laws becuase there basically the parents of the children. If you get what I mean.
