Me and my brother agruee about this all the time I say Batman because he has all of the weapons and gadets and he says spiderman cause he's got spider sense I say spiderman because although Bruce Wayne is rich, resourceful and is the world's greatest detective...Peter Parker has a degree in engineer has been trained very well(by the avengers esp Iron Man) and has spider sense....sure Batman Could try to create some sort of device to get around that...Peter would figure it out....he was even able to override Iron Man's control of his new Spidey suit in the Civil War Series....yes of course Batman has a plane and a cool car to help....but spiderman has gone toe to toe with Wolverine, Thor, and even the Hulk....the strongest person Batman has gone against is Superman (and only after a sneak attack of krypton)....Spiderman isn't going to faint after seeing some darn rock....Spiderman is faster and has faced many ninja opponent Batman's martial arts training wouldn't be a problem. Spider man has fought the Punisher and Daredevil. The last time Batman fought a extremely powerful opponent was when he battled Spawn and Spawn cleaned his clocked...Batman even died and Spawn had to resurrect him with his magic....so in conclusion I'm sorry Spiderman would win. marvel and dc comics history If given time to plan, I might call it a toss up. Batman has a lot of resources he could use if he has time and chooses where and when the fight takes place. However, Spidey is faster, stronger, and more agile than Batman and his Spidey sense warning him of danger would make it near impossible for Batman to stop him. lets look at this from a logical point of view, spiderman has power, hes stronger. batman no matter with any gadgets, still is a human being with no power. SPIDERMAN PREVAILS. i think batman would win cause he is got the brain and the strength but spider man only has his power i admit BATMAN is awesome for being a mere human, and playing the role of a super hero, Spiderman was not my favorite, but after watching the movies i kinda got to know his character, so i think he is good too

i think they both have a chance of wining. first Spider man if he is not too pick about worrying about others around, all he needs to do is play a equal role in close combat, when it leads to it, then USE WEB to trap him, and if it seems to work with just small amount of web on his legs and hands and mouth then do the finishing blows, if he gets loose with something from his belt, then spider man needs to do the same thing again, but this time Wrap the belt too, and then cover his whole body with thick layer of web, wait some while and if he doest move, batman is defaulted in losing, but release him and say hey u could of died so i let u go.SO Spiddy wins here

For Batman to win he had to have prepared well knowing his enemy is spider man,by bring hsi equipments, and stuff, poision gas bombs, gas bombs, flash bombs etc. ninja throwers , and stuff, and then when he meets spiddy, do the same match with equal close combat, then start with throwers, then something with his weapons, .. **** sry i forgot how batman beats his enemies .. lol but im pretty sure he could have a chance against spiddy, like he beat superman with cheap shot kryptonite. lol Truthfully, all the power rests in the marketing ploy. Every crossover between companies has been decided by the marketability of the answer. As one of the oldest DC characters and with multiple titles, Batman has a chance. Unfortunately, Marvel's got the power on their side because the Spiderman movies have surpassed the fiasco WB made out of Batman.
Just to take your question at face value, though, I'd have to say it would depend. With enough time to study Spidey, and the chance to create a gadget that would 'fool' the 'spider-sense', Bat-man could easily win. In an unplanned encounter, though, I would have to give the edge to Spidey. Batman's beaten foes faster than him, and stronger than him, but he's not fought someone with a precognitive combat sense like Spidey's. Spiderman has fought with and against several Marvel characters that are similar to Batman, most noticeably Punisher and Daredevil. The fight would be close but, without the chance to study him and prepare, Batman would lose, sorry. Batman. He is smart so he would probably lure him away from the city where spideys powers would be useless that way he could take him without the gadgets. I know spidey is stronger than the average man but batman was trained in martial arts for years so he could take him. Yes he could still shoot him with a web but he couldn't web sling so batman could free himself easily if he had a batarang on hand. Love spidey but batman would beat him hands down. I say SPIDERMAN ,, i read some answers above me , u say batman is smart well peter parker is smart too!! smart+strong+superpower > smart+gadgets
