I've noticed in Naruto that the red markings on Kiba's face are the same exact ones San bears on her face in Hayao Miyazaki's anime film, Princess Mononoke, minus the one she also has on her forehead. Is there any significance to this? Are these markings commonly used when referring to wolves, dogs, or canines in general? Or does this just happen to be a coincidence?
Answers: For Kiba, i knwo that they are associated to the fact that his clan uses dogs as companians in battle. They are supposed to mark a symbol of their relationship with Canines, the red marks on Kiba's clan's faces are to represent Fangs yes
