Why are guys so untidy? After I clean my bf messes up the bedroom.?

I can never keep the bedroom clean. After I clean it up, he will go in there n throw stuff on the floor, n mess up the folded laundry in the drawers. Is this normal male behavior, my ex did the same thing.

I actually just read an article about this and it was very interesting. It said that females have an instinct to keep the home clean and tidy since they are the natural care givers in the home, while males are more driven to keep their work place nice. Women are nurtures, hence the nice home, while men are providers, so they care more about the office or wherever they work. Men couldn't care less about how the house looks because that isn't what validates them as a man. Kind of like how a woman couldn't care less about how many horsepower their car is.
