Here's a question of all you Marvel Comics fans!!!?

First off I'd like to state that I'm just a fan of comics, I'm not a DC guy, I'm not a Marvel guy I just like to read good stories, hell I'll read an Image comic if the concept is interesting.

Here's my question Does it bother you that every Marvel character lives in New York? I have nothing aganst that state or anything it just ruiens most Marvel stories for me, because it's not that big of a state.
On the one hand you have the X-men who are hated because the're Mutants, some are even forced to live underground. But then you have the FF4 who were mutated in space, but everybody loves them. They even live in a building with a big 4 on the side. You also have Spiderman, dare devil, the Punisher, and don't even get me started on the Hulk- how the government can't seem to ever stop him where are these damn heroes? There's one in every flipping city in NY. Technically shoulden't NY be the safest place to live? I know this is a nerdy question, and it is just comics, but it bothers me.

Black panther, Ghost Rider/Hell Raiser and the Sub-mariner don't count in my question - Reason: Because they suck!!! I'm talking about the Good characters, please don't nit pick my question, you know what I mean, the over all majority!!

I think it's mainly because New York City is one of the biggest cities there for it makes a great place as home to Super Heros mainly Marvel. Although I like it does get a little annoying that it's by being used for the majority of Marvel Comic most popular and top super heros. Very repetive and a bit overdone. Although I will point out that the popular Marvel Comics Super Hero Ironman operates in Seattle Washington.

Although I disagree with that Sub Mariner is a sucky character. The fact is he is the first Marvel mutant and still remains a popular complex unpredictable character.
