Seriously- emo music. steryotype?!

Question:

Seriously- emo music. steryotype?

Seriopusly no emos must die answers. why are all of you so aposed to that type of must? because its alternative? im not "emo" but i like that music, pnce you get the lyrics its good music.

Answers:

Well, first, to call someone emo is stereotypically labeling someone.

Second, the stereotype of emo music include the bands of Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, so on and so forth. Having these labels make everything screwed, because they're apparently wrong. I think bands like Underoath or Taking Back Sunday fit under the "emo" genre.

But what I believe is that people would hate more of the music-to-person label than the music itself. Meaning that they're hating on the label that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the people who came up with the label in the first place. It's lame to call someone by a music genre, so the antipathy is towards the "emos" than the music.
