when Harry Potter was at the Dursley's house and they drank the polyjuice potion that made them transform into Harry, why did they risk their lives since the death eaters / voldemort could've killed them? did they do it for harry? & what is the imperius curse? Why did they have to leave the Dursley's house?

Yes, they did it for Harry. So when there was the sevevn potters, they were trying to distract the Death Eaters and Voldemort. The Imperious Curse is one of the unforgivable curses. It could kill another wizard, etc. They had to leave the Dursley's house because Harry was turning 17. The protection would be gone and Voldemort would kill him. That's why he had to leave, so he can get better protection.
