Tom- had the time just not the heart to do so. Thought it best just to delete.

Yes, sometimes.
When my reasoning got the better of my impulses.
Most often, I EDIT ( not delete) my answers to suit my new
thinking or to give it a polish & new look, if I had the time.!.
