Oprah - Friendly or Phony???

Hi,
I like Oprah but my other half thinks she's a big phony. He thinks that she pretends to care to draw in suckers like me and keep making millions of dollars. I think that it shouldnt matter, she is raising sooooo much money for good causes and she is a very smart woman and her heart is in the right place. What do you guys think of her?

And she spends the millions on people who need it desperately. See the houses she built for victims of the Tornado. Or those sick and ill in Africa.
At least she is open about what she is raising and for what. There are many who could do this but do not.

I for one respect her. I watched her rise. At first they all made fun of her. Now those same bow to her.
Even David Letterman had to eat humble pie.
