Would you sign the MAHR petition?
If you don't know what MAHR is, it stands for "Mothers Against Hard Rock". This group opposed to "hard rock" music. So far they have targeted popular post-hardcore/screamo/emo /whatever you want to define them as bands "My Chemical Romance" and "the Used". This is considered by many an attack on the 1st Amendment right to free speech and a petition started on the internet as a protest to this has gained over 4,000 signatures so far. This group (MAHR) appears to have no known website and little appears to be known about it at this time except that they are trying to ban bands that many people love.
Would you sign that thing??? Why or why not????

Of course not! Not just because thats MY music...If it was a petition against rap or country or something, I still wouldn't sign it. Its just NOT RIGHT!
I think that no matter how many signatures they get, it wont go through...Not because anyone cares about our constitutional right. Oh no, it will be because theres money in the entertainment business.
