The Corys? What do you think?!

Question:

The Corys? What do you think?

Okay, this is bothering me. It was announced recently that Cory Haim and Cory Feldman are getting together to do a television show. For those of you who aren't familiar, they starred in several 80s movies, including the "Lost Boys."

Anyway, who would want their children exposed to former drug addicts who have been in and out of rehab so many times that they should have installed a revolving door.

In light of the Paris Hilton jail "scandel" and now Lindsay Lohan, what is the entertainment industry trying to do to our children and young adults? Makes you wonder doesn't it? Your thoughts?

For Me To Know: With all due respect to you and your friends, cancer is a lot different than drug addiction. Drug addiction can be an influence on others, where cancer can't. Drug addiction is self inflicted, where most cancers aren't. So your theory really doesn't hold up.

And no, I am not "effing" perfect, but if you watched COREY on the surreal life, he was a real piece of work there too. Should be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Convinced: Why are you so bitter and hateful? I am entitled to my opinion be it right or wrong, as you are entitled to yours. I would be much more apt to listen if you didn't spew venom.

Convinced: You lack of self-esteem is showing, and your name calling merely shows your lack of maturity. In any case, enjoy your day child.

Answers:

You're right about the revolving door thing, toots. Jesus, they should make it really fun and have them hang out with Liza Minnelli.

You know, in my arena [theatre], when artists self-implode they're kind of ostracized. But in Hollywood, they're venerated and given television shows. Just one more reason that I rarely watch television.
