Calling all parents...?
What chores do your kids do around the house? What are their ages? Do they get paid for their chores, if so, how much?

My kids are only 3 and 4, but I require them to pick their toys back up after playing with them so that they're ready for when they have to do it at school.
I call it "team-work time" where we all get together in one room and help each other put stuff up. One kid gets a plastic WalMart bag for to pick up trash, the other one focuses on toys or books and I just coach from the sideline. And, should one of them decide to be difficult and not cooperate, I don't even break a sweat and I remind them that there won't be any treats (like candy/ice cream desserts) for little boys who aren't part of the team. ;)
And, no money yet. I'll start that when they can conceptualize money more clearly.
