Your most memorable vacation?
Where was it at & what made it so special?
Answers:
It was when I went to Disney World in Florida for the first time.
As a little girl living in England I always dreamed of going to the one in California. I had seen pictures of it etc, but knew it would never happen as my family had little as far as money was concerned, but we had so much in the way of love.
When I was 28 I moved to Canada with my husband and children. We went to Florida a few months later and went to Disney World. Okay it was not in California, but it was still a dream come true.
Watching the parade I remembered my childhood dreams and my dad crying because we only had toast for dinner. I remembered longing to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse as a kid. I thought of the kids who right at that moment were dreaming my dream and thinking it could never come true. I was sobbing like a baby (as I am now)
It was then I truly learned never to give up on your dreams, because if you dream hard enough and pray hard enough sometimes that dream may just come true as mine had.
Since then I have visited the park in California, Paris and Tokyo too. My only regret is that myt parents passed when I was still just that little girl and never got to do this with me too.
