Help with a voilin?

about 5 or 6 mounths ago, i bought a Violin off of ebay.com.

today my sister found out (or at least thinks) that it is a viola.

is there some way to find out how to tell.

the thing is i don't have a violin (i think) and i don't know any one who does have a full size one. i know i bought mine full size.

whille i'm at it does a voilin have 4 fine tuners or just one?

ya but like i said i don't have any other violin and i don't know any one who does have one.

first of all u have to check the size. violas are a size bigger than violins. also check the sound of the strings. the highest string [right side] should be high. it should also be pretty thin. violin strings from lowest to highest are {G, D, A, E} viola strings from lowest to highest are {C, G, D, A} um. i think.. lol sorryy im a violin player
