who else is feelin "cant tell me nothing" at first I thought that it was going to be stupid because I heard that ladies voice but I sat and listen to this man's lyrics MAN!! this song goes to hard...my favorite lyric is when he says, old folks talkin bout back in my day... well homie this is my day class started 2 hours ago OH am I late... and when he says,"they say I talk with so much emphasis, oohhh they so sensitive. LOL love it but I kinda can do with out the lady singing in the background... and how do yall like commons song called"the people" I love that.. tust me true poetry

i love both songs too! i aint really had a chance to listen to the lyrics in "the people", but my favorite lyrics in "can't tell me nothin" is:
