What is the saddest thing you've had to endure with this flooding?
besides being totally wet and disgusted with this weather being heaped upon you.

hem, i have to think about it first coz i dunno which is more devastating..
1. the fact that my house was underwater for a week
2. the fact that we lost almost everything and had to buy from a single spoon to a washing machine
3. the fact the the books in our library (some are more than 20 yo like the first indonesian edition of donald duck) were shatter apart
4. the fact that photo albums and other irreplaceable memoars were gone
5. the fact the my mom had to save her life to a shelter in a warlike condition which is actually a third story of a school building when the flood came
6. the fact that i had to swim and find a boat struggling to save her in the middle of the night with a flash light
hem.. which do you think is the saddest thing?
fyi, i live in Jakarta, Indonesia. my neighborhood was flooded 1.5-2 meter high for a week, last february.
