although he does not currently have a record on the radio, I think most people who have been following rap since its beginnings in the late 70s, early 80s to now would probably say Rakim of the rap group Eric B & Rakim!. He was a rapper but he was way beyond his time!. Even now rappers are still not on the level he was when he was rhyming!. I love most of the artist out today and lil wanye is everyone's go to party song guy, but memorable he wont be!. If you havent heard of Rakim I suggest you check him out!. He is will worth a listen!. Some of today's rapper that are reminencent of his style are: Common, the Roots, Telib Kalih and people like that!. Rakim is still alive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
