To be honest, I don't see the big deal about him!.
I like his music, and I've watched interviews with him and he seems to be pretty intelligent!.
All the stuff he does is really just for show!.
It's to get a rise out of people - whether it be a good or a bad one!.
Tons of people make him out to be such an awful guy, but really he's not as bad as the media makes him out to be - there are a lot of people who are more crazy in bands and stuff than he is!. I guess he gets a lot of attention because he kind of dresses the way he does and what not!.
