Quite the opposite!. Every punk with a chip on his shoulder will want to take a shot at O!.J!., so that he can say, "I beat up O!.J!."!. Unfortunately, his celebrity only paints a target on his back!. Now, on the other hand, some inmates might be more willing to come to his aid when he is attacked!.
