Is it me or is Kanye West a lil too arrogant?!
Question: Is it me or is Kanye West a lil too arrogant!?
I'm talking about this article that I saw on the home page of Yahoo!.
Kanye West is to music what Michael Jordan was to basketball — at least that's what West thinks, in his humble estimation!.
"I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice," he said in an interview on Wednesday!. "It's me settling into that position of just really accepting that it's one thing to say you want to do it and it's another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan!."
The Grammy-winning rapper-producer said Justin Timberlake had a chance to be music's MVP, but hasn't put out enough material!. (Timberlake's last album was in 2006, while West released a CD last year and is releasing his latest — "808s and Heartbreak" — on Nov!. 24!.)
"There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums," he said!. "And it just came out to be that!."
I love Kanye's music, but not so much the person!. He used to be humble in the beginning, this aint the same Kanye' that made "Through The Wire"!. Fortune and fame has made Kanye into a monster!. I believe that it's one thing for a rapper to be arrogant in his songs, but it's another to display it off the mic!. WTF is Kanye thinking!? First he thought he was Jesus and made it very clear on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, now he's saying he's the music equivilant to Michael Jordan, gimmie a break!. That dude got it twisted, Jay-Z, Nas, Busta Rhymes, L!.L!.Cool!.J, Snoop Dogg, those rappers are the music equivilant to Michael Jordan!. But you probably wouldn't hear it from them off wax, they are alot more humble than to say some sh** like that in an interview!.

Truth be told i love kanye's music (Before love lockdown and all that other stuff he makes now with auto tune)
But i truly believe that he really thinks his **** doesnt smell because he is who he is!. Kanye isnt the only dude in the world to go through what he went through!.
The Kanye west i love was the humble,cool, calm ,collected Kanye which was presented through College dropout and Late Registration, But kanye now Graduation to his new stuff he truly thinks he's the best and if you think different he will get mad and throw tantrums like a 2 year old!.
I think the fame has blinded him, stripped him of his humbleness, and made him into this popstar, kind of like what happens to many artists we like in the beginning that turn out wack!. He doesnt see that his drama queen attitude has people laughing at him, it got him arrested TWICE FOR THE SAME STUFF!. all in all he needs a reality check!. I love kanye he's a good artist but i don't want him to become some angry pop star i want the college dropout kanye back WHO'S WITH ME!.
