Absolutely ridiculous! Trial by Media! There is far more offensive 'comedy' allowed out there!. over 98% complaints made were made by people who haven't even listened to the show! They just jumped on the hyped up media band wagon!. Sad representations of the British public!. Know the facts before complaining!

it went OTT with the media and complaints, i personnally didn't think it was that bad, i've seen jonathon ross do worse on his show and same with russell brand, they have apologised so i think it should be dropped

(ANS) Both Ross & Brand are 100% totally over rated & totally over paid idiots who should be sacked!.
**They both have their mouths & brains disconnected and as a result twaddle & rubbish pours forth!. The BBC should get rid of both of them, & find broadcasters worth listening to & worth the license fee payers money!.
**How can the BBC really justify Ross's 18 million salary sick !! IMO!.

I no way condone the behavior of either of them, but it was like a school boy prank which went too far!. but I think it has been all blown out of proportion and purely on the basis that the BBC is funded by the licence payer!.
I can't stand the arguments that they should both have been immeadiately sacked because of their lewd sense of humour - you are never going to please all the people all of the time!. I am sure that those that are using this as an excuse to get rid of them because they don't appreciate their humour (not that I am saying that in this particular occasion it was humour) watch things that IMHO are a waste of money, but I just choose not to watch or listen to them!. Like I said you are not going to be able to have all radio stations and tv programmes that appeal to everyone!.
It has been trial by media - only 2 people complained before it became so public which just shows the offence it originally caused, surely the fact it has become so public has been more embarassing to Andrew Sachs!.
I think Mr Sachs has acted like a true gentleman throughout this, but I have doubts over the sencerity of the grandaughter - look at the name of the "troop" she is in - hardly a fine example of how to make your granddad proud!.
She also alledgedly said she was embarrassed that she had to admit to sleeeping with brand and the fact that her Grandfather had to find out she had slept with him in such a public manner!. I am sorry but surely she knew when she was sleeping with him that it could have become public knowledge via the newspapers anyway!? I am sure the publicity will do her career some good though!.
I also think it is ridiculous that the amount Jonathon earns is used as an argument as to why he should go (Even Ross' salary has been blown out of all proportion, people quote him as having a salary of ￡18m - this is incorrect he has signed an ￡18m DEAL over 3 years his salary is actually ￡6m per annum)!. Surely his salary shouldn't even be a factor in this - it is his behaviour on this occasion that should be the only factor in the arguement!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they got a bit carried away and it all got out of proportion after the daily mail printed the article!. i thought their comments were actually quite funny, it was just the tone they said it in that wasnt good!. they are both lovely people and i dont think they actually meant any of it (even though the bit about him sleepin wif georgina was true)!. the person in the wrong should be the one who said it was ok for it to air, even though they consulted andrew sachs and he said he didnt want it broadcast!.
