When John Ritter sadly passed away they decided to continue 8 Simple Rules without him!. His character Paul went to the grocery store & had a heart attack while in 1 of the aisles & sadly died!. It is similar to how he died in real life, as he too suffered a heart attack, just not in a grocery store!. I've always loved 8 Simple Rules & it just wasn't the same after he died, but still funny!.
