Question: I have to write a speech over a famous person, dead or alive!. Who would be interesting!?
I was originally thinking steve perry, the former singer of journey, to tell about his sickness and everything, but our library doesnt have anything over him!.

Jim Morrison--He was incredibly wise but his life deteriorated with his abuse of drugs and alchohol!. That would make a very interesting speech!. I was sucked into Jim Morrison's story the minute I began reading about him!.
John Lennon--the most peaceful man on earth, such wonderful vibes he elicited, why would someone assasinate him!? This man was truely wonderful and truley made a change!.
The Beatles as a whole- that could make for an interesting speech!.
Grateful Dead-they invented the "jam band" basis and started a revolution with the "dead heads"!.

It's true when you do something over famous people that you should choose a person who you will actually enjoy researching!. Sure, go ahead and do Washington but no offence, BORING!
Maybe people who changed the music generation of that time!. I'm talking about The Beatles!. Back then, music was just classic boring crap!. Then they came in and everything changed!. Pop culture, they call it!? yeah that's it!. I mean, who has the guts to do that!? Especially in that society!. also remember that this happened after a few years of the WW II !.
I personally think that you should do The Beatles!. Because it's so interesting how they got together and all!.

How about Sammy Davis Jr!. There was a documentary on PBS about the Rat Pack!. I had no idea he lost his eye in a car accident in San Bernadino, CA!. Dean Martin also had a interesting story!.

jim morrison is a very interesting study!. the man was an absolute genius even without his music!. u could do a gr8 speach on him cos theres loads of info out there on not only his poetry and his life but his thoughts and feelings on life death spirituality evolution and rebellion from the confines of a military existance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
