Question: Why did John Lennon quit The Quarrymen!? !?
I was just watching part of The Anthology, and they talked about John meeting Paul, then George, but no mention as to why John didn't keep things going with The Quarrymen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it wasn't necessarily that he quit, it's that they evolved!. once he met paul and george, he actually invited them into the band and they evolved and changed their band name quite a few times before settling on the beatles!. for example they were long john and the silver beetles (with that spelling i believe) for a while!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
