Question: Did John Lennon play a significant role in history!?
I have to do a history project in school and it cannot be on a topic we did in class and it also has to be a shaping factor of history!. I want to do John Lennon but my teacher says that he wasn't important enough but I am convinced he was!. If Im wrong please tell me!. Although if Im right please give me a reason I can give to my teacher so I can convince her to allow me to do my project on him!. Th more detail the better!!!

John Lennon played a significant role in MUSICAL history but not the type of history to which you are referring!. He was a great musician, talented song-writer and he and the Beatles actually helped to shape musical form!. His death was tragic indeed and drew tons of attention but he played no historical role and there is no way to convince your teacher that he played a significant role in history!. He didn't even come close to that!. sorry!. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan but it still doesn't change that he had nothing to do with history!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Of course he was apart of history!. If he wasn't then why are people still talking about him and having discussions about him!. You mean to tell me your teacher never listened to him!? your teacher didn't follow his death!? Why are some of the biggest influence that people have are about the beatles!? The backbone of that band were John and Paul!. I bet if one of Johns songs came on your teacher would know it!. Look at Bruce Lee!. Look at Anna Nicole Smith!. Look at Marilyn Monroe!. These are just a few celebrities that are in the history books!. Maybe not the greatest examples!. Is your teacher also going to say Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones not apart of history too!. Yea ask her that one!!!!! How was John Lennon not important enough!? Where does your teacher think that the music he/she listens to came from!?
