America Fererra recently said that Gossip Girl encouraged girls to hate each other (as if all girls were buddies before this) but Ugly Betty tells girls it does not matter what you look like- hot guys will want you anyway because you are true to yourself!. As if!. To me, Ugly Betty is way more harmful than Gossip Girl!. No takes G!.G!. seriously but dummy might Ugly Betty at its word!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have watched a bit of both!. You can not put any one in a box!. Whatever message they send I am sure you can find people that fit each category!. I have a friend with 9 kids by 6 different men and she found true love and the man is financially stable!. He just bought her a beautiful car!. She has a terrible personality and stretch marks to boot!. She is not the exception because I have a philipina friend with 5 kids by 4 different men!. Gossip Girl happens in some rich schools, but it shows popular girls, and the way they deal with their "hard times"!.
Ugly Betty is more realistic because it shows an ordinary family dealing with hardships!. Betty has dreams and is naive and hard working!. They aren't always lucky, and have a happy ending like in other shows, but in the end Betty is happy with what she has!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
