Tori Amos!. She has had so little recognition (over here in Great Britain) for her music, and she is a far better lyricist and composer than anyone else in the charts today!. She may not be as much of a showman as say Madonna, but her music is much more profound!. To think she has only sold 5% of the records Madonna has is quite a sad indictment on the state of the charts!. I love Madonna but don't think she is 20 times better than Tori Amos!. So in short: Tori Amos is the most underrated artist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Robbie Williams
He actually writes (and always has) most of his own songs!. If Guy Chambers wrote the songs then how come he's only ever had one top ten hit since going solo!?
His lyrics have a depth and a humour that few take the time to listen to and appreciate, but even fewer can come close to writing themselves!.
Sadly, his best songs have rarely been released as singles;
Love Somebody, is the most incredible heart felt love song I have ever heard,
Coffee Tea and Sympathy, an honest, witty and sad account of fame and Robbie's mind at the time
A Place to Crash is a great rocking party song that should have been a single
You're History is a great pop song one of the funniest lyrics - "got your **** done and moved out the very next day, all you left was the bill to pay - what a front!" is very clever, and very witty play on words, which takes real intelligence!.
United, She Makes Me High, Berliner Star …
He may not have the best voice but it's a good voice and to be able to move to swing so successfully that you open up a whole genre of popular music from years past to a new generation and open the door for artists like Jamie Cullen, Michael Buble and dozens more - who else has ever done such a thing!? It's rare!.
What he's missing now is the quality control that Guy Chambers provided!. As a writing partner who was there at the beginning and slightly older, Guy was able to say NO! that's not good enough!. Rudebox would never have been released if Guy was still involved because it wasn't good enough, and whoever thought it was !.!.!.
He needs to sack Josie Cliff, since she took over from David Enthoven as his manager his career has taken a nose dive she was hired to manage his diary, not his career!.
Today Robbie is surrounded by yes men, who just want to keep him happy!. Which of course they can't!. He's reached a level of fame that is up there with Elvis and Michael Jackson, yes he wanted it, but be careful what you wish for…
In the UK I'm ashamed to say we build people up to knock them down!. He's put down as an 'entertainer' like that's a bad thing, but look at all those huge names at Live 8 and he stole the show, even people who aren't fans said how good he was, to hold the attention of a crowd of thousands is incredibly different, it takes that X factor that's banded about today like confetti, and that's a gift that shouldn't be thrown back at him like a slur!. We should applaud him!.
also he does so much for charity that we never hear about!.
Like him or not, he should be recognised for the contribution he's made to the music industry!.

chesney hawkes!. if you heard his works you'd wonder too why he only had one hit, and that was in the 90's, called "the one and only"!. other songs which deserve accolade include "secrets of the heart", "i'm a man not a boy", "missing you already", "nothing serious", "a crazy world like this", "another fine mess", "overrated", "stay away baby jane", "oh so dull", "come and get it"!. he is also a songwriter (wrote songs for bands like a1) and an actor but most people don't know that they only know him as the one hit wonder who sang "the one and only"!. a shame really!. =/
edit: besides being very talented and having a brilliant voice he's also obviously very handsome so i can't see why he lacks the popularity he so deserves!.!.!. =(Www@Enter-QA@Com
