It's kind of difficult to explain and no one is exactly sure on what's happened, i think it was this:
As of 2005 it was announced they were on an indefinite hiatus!. Tom wanted to spend more time with his family and take time off music, so they cancelled the remainder of their tour!. Mark and Travis weren't too happy about it, as they wanted to keep playing music!. Travis and Mark kept playing together and writing songs!. In the meanwhile Tom was offered to play with angels and airwaves!. They started arguing because Mark and Travis wanted to keep playing, but Tom didn't and all the ill feelings toward each other came up such as Marks displeasure with Tom always being so involved with sideprojects!. Then Tom made their manager call Mark and Travis to say he had quit the band!. They haven't talked in 3years!.
think that was about it, perhaps i left something out!.
Now with Tom wanting to play more serious music, he joined AVA and Mark and Travis founded +44!.
