Why don't we respect our old singers as much we respect young stars? ?!
Question: Why don't we respect our old singers as much we respect young stars!? !?
For example: Cher, Mariah Carey (shes not that old, but shes kinda old compared to a lot of singers these days, and shes been a singer since 1990), Madonna, Celine Dion, etc!.
Old Celebrities, in my opinion have the most talent out of any young singer!. (Call Madonna talentless if you want, but she has tons of talent compared to a lot of the sleezy nasty young stars these days)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think we respect young stars more than those you called old singers!. We might be talking and hearing more about them now, but is it going to last!? Does all the hype around them mean respect by their talent!? I do not think it is entirely so!.
Think about it this way: Yes, Miley and all of the Disney kids, as well as others like Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, etc, do get a lot of playtime on Tv and radio, and yes they are popular!. But they are popular now, they might not be in 10 years time!.
With older singers, like the ones mentioned, the fact that they are still around and that people are still talking about them (maybe not as much as they have been before but still are) proves that they are indeed very respected, and is proof of their talent and/or staying power!.
To be around for many years takes more than to have a couple of hit songs!. And I think we do respect them in that way!.
I do think it is a bigger recognition for Madonna to be around all these years than for any of the new hot stars to be mentioned everywhere!. If in 10 or 15 years time they are still being talked about, then I guess you can consider them big and respected as Madonna and Mariah!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Like people are saying that the Beatles music is talentless when they've never heard a song by them nor, a majority!. The Beatles were one of the Jonas Brothers influences and why can't people respect them!? They're really the ones who influenenced all of the great bands!.

because young stars are inexperienced however USA should have respect for them as they only young and the older stars be a bit more firm on and to those rubbish old stars then you can BE MEAN as they can take it even if they do act as mature sweethearts!. !!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
