You and me both!! I remember the movie a few years ago too and my mom has been begging me to rent it because she never got the chance to see it but for the life of me I can't figure out the name of it! And I know it wasn't the Long, Long, Trailer, because it was, like you said, a special biographical movie around the year 2004 or so!. I remember it was really long too and was one of those made for TV movies!. Well I'm going to look around and if I find anything I'll let you know!.

EDIT: I think MG got it! I think it might be "Lucy" from 2003, that's definitely the one I saw!.

EDIT II: I found it on YouTube!!! The answerer below me was right, it is called "Lucy" and it is from 2003! They have it in parts on YouTube and they have the whole movie! Hahaha sorry for the overuse of exclamation marks but I got excited because it's been driving me crazy for awhile too!. Anyways, here are the clips, I think they have the full movie but I haven't checked it all out yet!.

This is the link to Part 1 of the movie-http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=krK4VP7wj!.!.!.

And this is the user's channel who uploaded the entire movie-

(they also uploaded "I Still Dream of Jeanie!") Hahaha now I'm going to spend the rest of my night watching those two on YouTube!. Let me know if that's the right one =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are two biographical movies about Lucille Ball:

Lucy & Desi: Before the Laughter (1991)(TV), starring Frances Fisher as Lucille Ball!.
Lucy (2003) (TV), starring Rachel York as Lucille Ball!.

I believe the movie you're looking for is probably "Lucy (2003)"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
