Am I the only one who feels this way about the Beatles?!
Question: Am I the only one who feels this way about the Beatles!?
I've heard plenty of their music, and I am 19 years old but do have a great appreciation for a lot of old music!. I grew up listening to it and going to shows featuring it!.
But it seems like EVERYONE mentions the Beatles when they mention their influences, favorites, who they think was the best, and etc!.
And I've always felt that they weren't THAT good!. They have their great songs, and I'm sure they were musically talented and were insanely popular!.
But what's THAT special about them!. A good bit of their songs I can't even stand nor can I understand why anyone would listen to them and be like "wow this is the most amazing music I've ever heard"

I guess you had to be there at the time, and fortunately, I was! The Beatles were ahead of their time musically!. Remember, there hadn't been anything like them before at that time!.
There were no rock and roll bands before they arrived in the US in February of 1964!! They started a rock and roll revolution that changed music forever!. Just think!.!.!.they are the only band in history to have the number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 songs on the Billboard charts at the same time!!

i somewhat agree!. like i dont really see what makes thier songs so good!. they are kind of boring to listen to!. but i guess if i lived thirty years ago i would have a different opinion!. they are good, but not as good as some people make them out to be!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was never a huge fan either!. I liked a lot of their early stuff, but then they got too weird in the seventies!. Wrong combination of drugs or something!.

They were absolutely genius!. The songwriting duo of Lennon and McCartney is one of the greatest that pop music has ever seen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I LOVE the Beatles!! I love all of their songs and could sing them all by heart!. I listen to them all the time and have all of their albums!. I have the anthology!. I got hooked on it when I was little from my aunt who is the biggest Beatles fan ever!! She has every beatles song ever written including all of the ones that are rarely heard!. I don't know why I like them so much but their music reminds me of when I was little and my parents were still together and we would go camping in Lake Tahoe every summer and we would listen to the Beatles all the way up there and back and when my grandparents would take me with them to Utah and Wyoming and we would listen to them!. I just love them and and all of their songs are great!. I am pretty sure that they are the kind of band where you either love them or hate them!.!.!.If someone asked me what concert I would go to if I could go back in time and go see anyone ever they would be it!. I can't explain why or how I got to feel like this about them but I do!.!.!.and I have listened to their music through hard times, happy times, and just to rock out to it!.
