It is August, and there are still at least five months of movies to go before they start the Oscar campaign!. While he may seem like a strong contender at this time, things may change with the fall and Thanksgiving/Christmas releases!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think he was a great actor, and this was possibly his greatest performance!.
However, Oscars are almost never given to actors in Sci-Fi, Superhero or action movies!. I think the general consensus among the Academy is that these movies are "fluff" movies which lack real substance!.
I don't agree with that assesment (heck, I was really pissed as a kid when Annie Hall beat out Star Wars as best picture)!.

There are great actors out there; unfortunately Heath couldn't handle his problems and wasn't one of them, though he could have been!.

I think he should and I'm pretty sure he will!.
A lot of people think he's only going to get it because of his passing but after seeing The Dark Knight, I think he really deserves it!. He was absolutely amazing in this movie!. He would be only the second person to ever get an Oscar post-humously!.

he was great in all the movies he has started on in his movie career and that was only the start!
dark knight is one of my favorite movies :) and i dont just remember him as the joker in the movie!.
