Question: Is Slipknot fake!?
People have been telling me Slipknot is a fake band and don't want to listen to anything thats not true to meta, is it true!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

There is no such thing as "true" metal!.
Metal comes in all different varieties, to suite different types of people!. Only a jack@ss thinks that his music is better (or more "true") then someone else's (I'm not implying you said that, just an FYI)
Slipknot is pretty real, they've been around for quite a while, and their new album "All hope is Gone" has actually been announced already!.
I think what people have been telling you about Slipknot being "fake" is due to the fact that they've become really mainstream nowadays!. Almost all bands that make it to the mainstream get labeled as "fake"!. Slipknot is really getting the beating from most underground metal fans because they think the whole mask idea is just a gimmick!.
Oh well!. Listen to whatever music you like, does it really matter if the music is fake!? Music isn't a fashion statement!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think they're fake, hell they're people you know, they just have the makeup for their concerts, and band!. They are the same as Insane Clown Posse who kick ***!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
