Question: Why do celebrities feel the need to donate millions of dollars to help people in foreign countries!?
we have so many homeless, hungry & down-on-their luck people here on our own soil!. Why not use that money to help build up our nation!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because (the ones who don't do it for praise alone) want to use their fortune to help disadvantaged people!. I think they should!. They can't use all that money on themselves really!. They can have anything they want with just a small proportion of it, so they've got themselves well catered for!. Why not help others then!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Last I checked most Americans have clothes on their backs and over eat!. Yes there are people here that are needy and less fortunate than others but how do you even compare the 2!? The people in those countries have nothing and it shouldnt be about country, it should be about humanity!Www@Enter-QA@Com
i agree!. but it is nice that they are at least contributing to something other than themselves!. I always thought that is i was famous then i would donate money to help animals!. like in kill shelters and stuff like that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Because our condition over here isn't nearly as bad as the condition of other 3rd world countries!.

Celebrities love positive publicity!. If they donate to causes at home, the news doesn't get reported overseas and they'd prefer if it went worldwide!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
