I don't think so, it's just a job!. It also shows you have a lot of talent when a person can show that much menace when they aren't normally like that, so a lot of people like to do it for the challenge!. A lot of comedians have dabbled in that genre just to take that challenge, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it!.
Besides, a lot of actors just "have that look" and it makes it easier to get parts like that when they might not be able to get the cuddly, happy-go-lucky part!.!.!.lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It says they are willing to take on controversial roles!. I would make no assumptions that they condone the actions of their character, or that they empathize with them!.

It's a roll!. An actor by definition portrays something they're not!. Many actors find the kind of rolls you describe to be a challenge because it is such a stretch and test of their acting skills!. There's nothing wrong with them for playing those parts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
