Historically, sports entertainers (wrestlers in particular) use the tough sporty guy routine until they are physically unable to do so, look at Hulk Hogan, hes is double the Rocks age and still continues, as well as Shawn Michaels!. I think that if he wants to try different roles it has nothing to do with age or his body, he probably just wants to focus on his acting and not be type cast into only sporty roles!.
