Well!.!.!.!.it all was after Britney's divorce with K-Fed that she went through this mental breakdown!. She shaved her head, by herself, completely bald!. Months after that she went through a custody battle with K-Fed and Britney lost temporary custody to her kids with him!. It all still went downhill from there, she started to party and drink and get in minor car accidents!. The day of the MTV Music Awards, Britney was the opening performance, and she did a performance on her single "Gimme More", it wasn't that great and it hit headlines as the worst Britney performance ever!. Reportedly she had been drinking the day before and clubbing till' about 4:00am!. Months after that, it was Britney's day to have the kids and she held them hostage in her house until help came to take the kids away, and take her to the hospital!. At the hospital, she was taken in for Mental Evaluation and the next day, was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder!. A few days later she was hospitalized again for Psychiatric Evaluation!. After battling Sam Lufti(Britney's friend and rep), Britney's dad, Jamie, gained custody over her!. Her mom claimed that Lufti used alcohol and drugs to control her!. While in custody with her dad, Britney starts to improve her lifestyle and herself!.
