Because their "screen name" always stays the same!. They dont want to confuse anyone, and "screen names" are very important in the film industry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Some do (like Eva Longoria Parker), but people end up referring to them by their old names anyway!. If you become famous under a certain name, it's a hard mantle to shake off! Like another person mentioned, many adopt their spouses' names in their private life or on paper, but not professionally!. And many don't simply by personal choice, which many non-celebs do (about half of the married women I know have chosen to retain their own names and/or hyphenate)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I thought it was because of not being recognised like if they were in a film and it said their new surname, some people would be like who's that!? Even like people who don't really pay attention to celebs but watch movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
they usually do, but women add it to their maiden name, like ashley simpson is now ashley simpson-wentz!. i dunno!.!.!.i wouldnt do that!. i know denise richards had hers changed to sheen, but now obviously she is changing it backWww@Enter-QA@Com
