Question: What do you think of actress Sharon Stone's comment that the China earthquake was because of "bad karma"!?
Stone's remarks, made Thursday at the Festival de Cannes, pondered a link between the earthquake -- which to date has taken the lives of more than 65,000 -- and China's treatment of ethnic Tibetans and their exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, whom she called "a good friend!."

Wellllll!.!.!. I think people are over-reacting bit!. She has since added another comment after she was contacted by the Tibetan Foundation, & I (want to) believe that she is sincere!. Since others are also commenting on her relevance as a person & an actress, etc!., she is by no means an "air head!." Her I!.Q!. has been tested at 148 to 154!. Of course that doesn't mean she's educated about all things, but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt!.
***I also agree that China should NEVER have been given the Olympics to host!!! Besides moral, ethical, & political reasons, it's too polluted for the athletes to compete there!.

I believe that China's treatment of Tibet is immoral!.
On the other hand, I believe Stone's comment about karma was TOTALLY uncalled for, & flat-out ridiculous!. Anyone with a heart would think twice before making a comment like that!.
If the earthquake was karma, as Stone said, then it wouldn't have been those innocent civilians who had to pay the price!. We're all human!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
